1. CD Audio – this disc format conforms to Philips Red Book specification and requires authoring. This disc shall play in both modern-day players and an “old school” CD Player. The spec calls for a maximum of 75 Minutes total play time, however the disc can hold up-to less than 80 minutes. Naturally any master supplied that holds greater than 75 Minutes, JDM will not guarantee 100% playability of the replicated/duplicated disc.
  2. CD ROM – a data disc that can comprise of a multitude of file formats, i.e. mp3s, waves, mp4s, PDFs, etc. This disc format holds a maximum of 800 MBs of data. If media files are contained on this disc format it will not play in an “old school” CD Player, it will only play in a modern media player – if the player supports the media file format.
  3. DVD Video – this disc format conforms to ISO DVD Video specification and requires authoring. This disc will play in both modern media players and “old school” DVD Video Players.
  4. DVD ROM – a data disc format that can comprise of a multitude of file formats i.e. mp3s, waves, mp4s, PDFs, etc. Depending on the disc type the maximum data; DVD5 – 4.3 GBs, DVD9 – 8.7 GBs, DVD10 – 9.2 GBs. Any media files that are contained on this disc it will not play in an “old school” DVD Video Player, it will play in a modern media player – if the player supports the media file format.
